Artwork a Day: Day 1
It’s the start of 2015, and I’ve decided I finally need to start making artwork again! My last work was completed in May 2014, and any attempts to make work since this have failed spectacularly, so I thought what better way to overcome this artistic drought than having to do an artwork every day for the year! (Let’s hope I keep to it.)
Day 1 and I have gone for acrylics. This piece is a quick reflection on the latter half of last year. A distorted representation of a graduate (myself) it aims to encapsulate the anticipation and frustration after this time, leaving your routine and thrust into a lost world (reality) which feels purposeless and hopeless… (finding work or a career after graduating is hard!)
