This piece is inspired by the sheer beauty of imperfection and "accidents" resulting from 'Slow Stitch', and how these juxtaposed with the structure of Sashiko. The piece contains intertwining symbols, reflections and sensory perceptions of these memorable and important events and days throughout Thomas's year; a mindful and life-affirming journey.
